A Kia battery is a rechargeable battery that supplies electrical energy to your auto.It’s also known as an SLI battery (abbreviation of starting-lighting-ignition) and its main objective is to start the Kia engine.
Electricity for the car is supplied by the alternator once the engine is operating.
Usually, starting discharges less than three per cent of the battery capacity. SLI batteries are made to discharge a high outburst of current, measured in amperes, and then be quickly recharged.
They’re not designed for deep discharge, as well as the battery’s lifespan can be reduced by a full discharge.
